I spent many years of my life unable to escape the feelings of powerlessness as a victim of others, and as a victim of my own negative self-worth. I realized that while you might escape the enemies in your life, you cannot escape yourself. And when you are your own worst enemy that is a very bad deal. Eventually it was more than I could take. I needed the pain to stop. Thus began my journey of a thousand steps towards finding my "true" self beneath all of the old ideas, systems, and beliefs that were no longer working.
For me, shame from trauma was the author of these stories I was still telling myself long after the abuse had ended. It is a painful existence to feel innately "wrong", or "too" this or that. My life and my sense of self were impacted by overwhelming emotions of fear and dread. I did not have a life that I loved to live.
I understand the amount of courage it takes to reach out for someone to travel with you on the path to recovery. Trauma isolates us from others when what we really want is to be able to feel safe in our world and in our relationships. It is my sincere hope to offer that safety and reassurance that you are not alone.
I would be most honored to walk alongside you in your journey.
So many amazing possibilities await.

Coaching is about interacting with someone who can help you discover your full potential, to challenge you in new ways, and support and encourage you in pursuing the life you want to live.
Therapists are licensed professionals whose goals are to diagnose and treat. They provide therapy and can play a very important role in mental health and well-being. Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy but can be used in conjunction with a therapist. A coach will brainstorm and collaborate with you to first determine a course of action, and then support and empower you to take charge of your present and future well-being.
There is no doubt that if you ask around, you will find others that say coaching has changed their life. Not everyone has someone to bounce ideas off of, and sometimes a third party can offer valuable, unbiased insight. Personally, I would say, who wouldn’t benefit from having a coach? I found out that even coaches hire coaches. ;)
First, let's connect for a free 30-minute call to talk about what changes you'd like to see in your life and if my services and fees are good fit for you. Then, we go from there!
